However I have been told by Corel that at the time of purchase the confirmation email offers the purchaser the option of downloading the full set of files. No files are downloaded that allow the user to keep a back up. Then installation is done while on the net. It's the fact that Corel only, on the surface, offers the downloading of the installer. It's not the internet connection as such for me. Ian I think you may have missed the point. What is new in ParticleShop 1. How many problems are you having with your internet connected computer, what firewall / antivirus solution are you using? Realistically how much risk is there in simply connecting to a major companies site and downloading software? If you are using Windows it has a built in firewall and antivirus (Windows Defender), not the most powerful solutions but perfectly adequate if you are not browsing the net, opening email attachments etc.Īlso it is common for software these days are using internet activation so connection to the internet is required.
